Between the sun and the sand, what transpired during the two days at the GameDev Summit?

The GameDev Summit was able to pack 2 days worth of talks, workshops, networking and more. 

XDS Main Stage Talks and Panels

Our collaboration with the XDS Main Stage for the ExDev Track resulted in an excellently balanced program that allowed attendees to get external development insights from both the buyer and service provider perspective.

Networking

Together with the premier business event platform MeetToMatch, GDS was able to have an organized system to hold meaningful discussions and meetings that would lead to business deals and the formation of close relationships and collaborations.

Indie Games Main Stage

In an effort to educate various attendees with varying levels of understanding in the world of indie games, we dedicated Day 1 for investors, government officials, and other interested parties in the opportunities within investing in games from those experienced in the industry, and Day 2 for understanding more perspectives for available support indie developers might choose to take, alongside some encouraging stories.

Indie Games Workshops

To equip indie game developers whose strengths may lie in one or two work streams of game development, we provided intimate workshop settings with the experts so attendees can learn more and ask questions. Specific topics like launch momentum, pitch deck presentation, and dealing with influencers helped start more ideas and conversations for the game development talents in our audience.

Welcome and Farewell Parties

What’s the best way to cap off a day? Great food, refreshing drinks, and amazing entertainment with new and old friends is the way to go! For both days, the Welcome and Farewell parties provided an avenue to thank attendees and celebrate the new connections and business opportunities being made by way of GameDev Summit.
