GDS is a fantastic event that facilitates connections among numerous small vendors from the Southeast Asia region, fostering collaboration with larger developers and service providers globally.

The workshops were great. It was nice to learn things from other developers and people in the industry. Great speakers too! Learned a lot and felt very inspired and motivated.

“I had an amazing time at GameDev Summit 2025! It was fun, productive, and enlightening to spend time with my peers in the industry, meeting new people, and sharing our experiences.

One of the things that has always set GDS apart is the way it prioritizes connections, and being there this year really reaffirmed that for me. The conference is intentionally designed to slow people down and because of that there are more opportunities for shared time and a real emphasis on conversation. I found myself having longer, more thoughtful conversations that I usually do at conferences, and that observation seemed true for other attendees as well. Many people mentioned how easy it felt to move past surface-level exchanges and form real relationships. It was good to see this core strength of GDS come through so clearly in people’s actual experience.

A big thank you to the GDS organizers for such a wonderful event. It was a pleasure to reconnect with old friends and colleagues and meet new ones. I loved the long conversations, which helped me get to know everyone better. I also had some fun surprises, like running into someone from my second hometown, which was so random and awesome. GDS is inspiring and educational.

Well that’s a wrap GameDev Summit 2026! This is easily becoming one of my favorite conferences of the year. The social and relational aspect of this conference is just as important as the content provided. The atmosphere feels more relaxed and less transactional. You really get to learn what partners truly are inspired by and what excites them.

GameDev Summit was a blast! While Southeast Asia’s game scene is growing fast, The Philippines is a small but important market within the region. It was my first visit, and I was happy to have the chance to meet many of the key players and learn about the market from them directly. It was also fun to catch up with old friends, and to play some early but promising demos by local developers.”
