One thing that impressed me the most is that all the service providers in this region are a tight community instead of aggressively trying to out perform each other. The empowering vibe here is sincere and something I’ve never seen in other game conferences. We were all out doing excursions, eating, shopping and sharing our experiences with each other. Back on home soil (and back in my inbox) but I have to shout out the amazing GameDev Summit team for running an absolutely stunning inaugural event in Boracay.
It's been an honor and a privilege to attend. Thank you to Juney Dijkstra for putting together and hosting our panel and being such a wonderful moderator, leading the conversation so seamlessly. It was a joy to be involved.
To echo the closing remarks its impressive to see what the GameOps Inc. team achieved with no previous experience running events in such a short amount of time. It’s obviously taken a huge amount of dedication, determination, and talent.
Thank you also to all the developers that met and pitched to me, you were all so warm, passionate, and humble, I’m excited to see all the unique ideas coming from this region.
