Marla Rausch

CEO

Marla de Castro Rausch is founder and CEO of Animation Vertigo and Animation Vertigo Asia, a motion capture animation company with locations in the US and the Philippines. Since its founding almost 20 years ago, they’ve been considered a trailblazer in the motion capture outsourcing industry, her roster of titles in leading video games franchises such as Activision ‘s Call of Duty, NetherRealm’s Mortal Kombat, Quantic Dream’s Detroit: Becoming Human as well as Triple A sports titles like NBA2k, FIFA and Madden to mention a few and not to mention blockbuster films.

Beyond outsourcing though, she is pursuing new endeavors as the Managing Partner of Kampilan Productions, a content development studio; focusing on the hidden and untold stories of culture, values and people from the Philippines and Asia. She is also the writer / director of a 3D animated feature, developing her own IP that features a Filipino hero. Her experience in the challenging world of content development and Intellectual Property Management is the reason why she became a part of the Core of SIKAP – Creative Content Creators Association of the Philippines, and now its President.

Today, she continues to expand her role by starting new ventures focusing on capability growth and seeking more opportunities to develop the Intellectual Property creations from the Philippines for global consumption.
